As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will partner with the QA Lead and cross-functional teams to embed quality across the platform and ensure capabilities meet high standards before production. You will drive repeatable QA practices across multiple ServiceNow domains, supporting functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing. The six-month engagement focuses on improving release quality, platform reliability, and engineering confidence through robust testing and process improvement. You will work hands-on to promote a quality-first culture and help reduce production risk across WSD, LSD, ITSM and related areas.

Responsibilities

Establish and mature quality assurance practices across the platform
Develop test strategies and plans for new platform capabilities
Create, maintain and execute functional, integration and regression test cases
Validate platform functionality against requirements and acceptance criteria
Identify, document and reproduce defects and validate fixes
Participate in release planning and production readiness activities
Support test automation opportunities and reduce manual testing where possible
Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Quality teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
Maintain test plans, evidence and quality documentation in Jira and Confluence

Key requirements

Proven experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering
Experience testing enterprise web applications or SaaS platforms
Strong understanding of functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing
Experience in Agile engineering teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience managing defects across the SDLC
Jira and Confluence experience
Excellent written and verbal communication; attention to detail
