Senior Specialist / Project Manager

You will perform evaluations, diagnose conditions, and manage treatment plans in inpatient and/or consult-liaison settings, collaborating with nurses, social workers, and physicians. Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for patients
  • Manage psychiatric conditions through evidence-based medication management and treatment planning
  • Deliver care in an inpatient and/or consult-liaison setting (based on program needs)
  • Collaborate with nursing, social work, therapists, hospitalists, and case management
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings
  • Maintain accurate, timely EMR documentation
  • Comply with hospital policies, Joint Commission standards, and all state and federal regulations
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance activities
  • Participate in on-call coverage as required

Key requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (ABPN)
  • Active Pennsylvania medical license or ability to obtain
  • DEA license or eligibility
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a hospital-based, team-oriented environment
