Project Sourcing Buyer will manage Capex industrial components and Real Estate Construction procurement for Verkor Innovation Center and Giga Factory. You will secure cost-efficient, compliant and sustainable sourcing while coordinating with manufacturing, engineering and quality teams. The role emphasizes supplier performance, risk management and cross-functional collaboration to support a multi-hundred-million-euro budget. This is an opportunity to shape Verkor's ambitious gigafactory program and drive sustainable procurement at scale.

Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate suppliers; negotiate contracts for price, quality, delivery and EHS
Monitor market trends and geopolitics to identify cost-saving opportunities; conduct cost analysis and implement cost reduction initiatives
Prepare and present sourcing reviews with KPIs at tactical and strategic levels
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships; conduct performance reviews and drive improvements
Define tactics and strategy to ensure uninterrupted deliveries
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance to align sourcing with business goals
Ensure procurement activities comply with purchasing guidelines and regulations
Promote sustainable procurement and align supplier environmental and social performance with Verkor Code of Conduct
Ensure ethical sourcing of all materials per industry standards and policies

Key requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 4 years of procurement experience, preferably in battery or related industries
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of market trends, supplier evaluation, and cost analysis
