In this role you will drive Capex industrial components and Real Estate Construction project sourcing for Verkor Innovation Center and Giga Factory. You will partner with internal customers to secure best-in-class cost, quality, delivery and safety, while promoting sustainable procurement. You will lead supplier selection, negotiation and performance management, and collaborate with engineering, production and quality teams to align sourcing with business goals. This position offers the chance to shape a world-class European gigafactory and accelerate clean mobility.

Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers; negotiate contracts to secure favorable price, quality, delivery and EHS terms
Monitor market trends and geopolitics to find cost-saving opportunities; conduct cost analyses and drive cost reduction initiatives
Prepare and present sourcing reviews with KPIs at tactical and strategic levels
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships; conduct performance reviews and drive improvement activities
Define tactics and strategy to ensure uninterrupted deliveries
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance to align sourcing with business goals
Ensure procurement activities comply with purchasing guidelines and regulations
Promote sustainable procurement and align with Verkor Code of Conduct; ensure ethical sourcing of materials

Key requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the battery or related industries
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of market trends, supplier evaluation, and cost analysis
