As a Project Manager, you oversee multi-discipline engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring safety, scope, schedule, and budget adherence. You coordinate design teams, client relations, risk management, and project controls to deliver high-quality outcomes. You act as a primary client contact and mentor the project team while implementing policies and QA/QC standards. This role offers impact through shaping project execution and building strong client partnerships.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of multi-discipline engineering projects from concept to completion, including safety, siting, environmental, permitting, planning, estimating, and constructability reviews
Develop, monitor, and control project schedules, scope, and costs
Act as primary client liaison on coordination, strategic planning, budgeting, subcontracting, staffing, and environmental compliance
Lead and participate in internal and external project risk reviews; consult with Legal as required
Manage internal project financials with accurate forecasts and accruals; report to leadership
Build and coordinate project teams across disciplines to ensure efficient staffing and cost-effective utilization
Lead project communications and manage submittals, proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations
Develop and enforce project policies, procedures, and execution plans; ensure QA/QC compliance
Provide mentorship and training to project team; offer performance feedback
Identify opportunities for client development and maintain client satisfaction
Report progress, risks, procurement issues, safety or environmental concerns, and design questions to stakeholders
Perform other duties as assigned

Key requirements

7+ years of related experience in design engineering, with at least 3 years in project management
Demonstrated success in project management and client relationship development
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle large workloads in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to present complex information clearly to all levels
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong experience with scheduling, cost control, and project management software
P.E. and PMP preferred; master's degree may substitute for 1 year of experience
Consulting experience and Transmission & Distribution experience preferred
