In this role you will lead multiple concurrent healthcare design and construction projects across PIH Health campuses, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will work with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver safe, efficient, and future-ready patient environments. You will apply PMI-aligned methods and industry best practices while integrating sustainability and technology to support high-quality care. Responsibilities
- Lead multiple healthcare design and construction projects from initiation through closeout across PIH Health campuses
- Ensure adherence to scope, schedule, budget, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Integrate sustainability and technology considerations into projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Contracts, Finance, Governance, FF&E, Clinical Operations, IT)
- Apply AEC best practices and PMI-aligned methodologies to deliver safe, efficient environments
- Engage external partners, design/engineering consultants, construction teams, and public agencies (HCAI)
- Manage project charters, WBS, integrated schedules, and risk control plans
- Communicate effectively to influence and guide diverse teams
Key requirements
- Advanced portfolio and project management using PMI/PMBOK
- Knowledge of healthcare design regulations, workflows, and methodologies
- Ability to develop project charters, WBS, integrated schedules, and risk control plans
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Smartsheet and other PMO software
- Strong communication and leadership skills to influence diverse teams
- Knowledge of procurement and contract administration principles
- Understanding of sustainability standards and energy efficiency practices
- Valid CA Driver's License required upon hire
