Senior Specialist / Project Manager

In this role you will lead project delivery for complex commercial and mission-critical facilities, aligning with a top industry player that uses integrated design-build. You will drive preconstruction, budgeting, scheduling, and commissioning activities while managing teams, owners, and subcontractors. You’ll work across cross-functional groups to ensure quality, risk controls, and successful turnover. This is a fast-paced, collaborative opportunity with meaningful impact on critical projects and client relationships.

Responsibilities
- Manage assigned project teams and subcontractors
- Grow project owner relationships and coordinate with all involved professional groups
- Lead preconstruction activities including bid procedures, reviews, vendor/subcontractor qualifications, estimating, and scheduling
- Oversee QA/QC programs and commissioning processes
- Provide leadership in construction risk evaluation, contract negotiations, and budget decisions
- Travel to project sites as needed
- Prepare and manage project budgets and schedules
- Lead construction progress meetings
- Oversee design development
- Demonstrate knowledge of mission-critical MEP systems and early turnover/commissioning processes
- Experience with Methods of Procedures for critical work
- Utilize MS Office, Procore, P6, and other management tools
- Maintain proactive, professional, and client-focused communication
Key requirements
- 4+ years of project management experience in Commercial and/or Mission Critical environments
- Strong understanding of complex mission-critical MEP systems
- Experience with preconstruction, bid procedures, and commissioning
- Ability to travel to project sites
- Proficiency with Procore, P6, and Microsoft Office
- Effective leadership of project meetings and teams
- Experience with contract negotiations and budgeting
- Strong communication and client-relations skills
