As Product Director for Brokerage, you lead a team to innovate and manage end-to-end product life cycles. You act as the voice of the customer, delivering profitable products with clear value while guiding launches and gathering feedback to ensure strong client experiences. You prioritize scalability, resiliency, and cross-functional collaboration to exceed customer expectations. This role sits at the core of a fintech-driven product organization, offering opportunities to shape investment products across markets and squads.
Responsibilities
- Develop and articulate a clear product strategy aligned with firm objectives across the EU
- Lead discovery and market research to identify customer needs and feed into the roadmap
- Define and monitor key success metrics (cost, features, risk posture, reliability)
- Foster strong collaboration with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Operations, Investments, and external partners
- Own the Product Development process to maximize team effectiveness and efficiency
- Balance business and technical objectives and translate them into clear priorities for PMs and Engineering
- Oversee product development, testing, and release management to ensure high quality and reliability
Key requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product management or a relevant domain within financial services or technology
- Proven track record in wealth management products and familiarity with brokerage/mutual funds lifecycle
- Experience leading product lifecycle activities from discovery to value management
- Experience with software delivery practices, dependency mapping, and MVP design for multi-country requirements
- Ability to translate technical issues for business and stakeholders
- Ability to incorporate user/business/technical constraints into product development
- Ability to align multiple departments and translate ideas into clear terms
- Experience developing investment products across different European jurisdictions
