Responsibilities

Negotiate and draft contract terms for complex commercial deals
Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders (legal, IT, risk, compliance) to assess and mitigate risks
Manage contract lifecycle as central point of contact, ensuring alignment with timelines
Identify inefficiencies, streamline contracting processes, and propose improvements
Plan and execute negotiation strategy adapting to changing circumstances
Ensure contracts comply with MassMutual standards and business objectives
Engage with supplier relationships and manage procurement activities within the function
Support risk governance and compliance through contract reviews and risk assessments

Key requirements

5+ years of professional corporate work experience
3+ years of experience reviewing, negotiating, and analyzing business agreements or related transactions
Experience drafting and redlining contracts (ideal)
Experience identifying and mitigating business or contractual risks
Experience collaborating with stakeholders to resolve operational or commercial issues
Experience with MSAs, SOWs, SaaS agreements, or other commercial contracts
Experience managing supplier/vendor relationships
Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems and governance processes
