As Category Manager Technology at Accenture Procurement Plus, you will lead the Technology category at the country level, translating global and regional strategies into local actions. You’ll develop the local procurement team and initiatives, drive cost savings, compliance, and supplier performance. You will shape sourcing programs, design RFPs, and implement contracts through preferred channels, while aligning with business planning and budgeting. This role offers impact in a global tech context with exposure to cross-functional, multi-market collaboration that accelerates value creation.

Responsibilities

Lead the implementation of global/regional Technology category strategy at the country/market unit level and develop local Procurement Plus Technology team
Implement global and regional sourcing strategies in the local market to drive cost savings, service excellence, compliance, and support business planning
Support pipeline planning and forecasting of sourcing activities; implement supplier KPIs and drive continuous improvement
Design RFPs and conduct competitive sourcing processes; ensure effective contract implementation and usage of preferred buying channels

Key requirements

At least 9 years of procurement or category management experience including IT and Technology categories
Experience in a matrix organization with on-shore/near-shore stakeholder and team management
Strong analytical, presentation, communication (written and oral), interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
Relationship management with a proactive customer-focused approach
Ability to manage multiple projects, be flexible and prioritize tasks
Degree and fluent in English
