In this role you will manage materials planning and ensure availability aligned with production schedules, driving on-time production. You will define production scheduling across assigned plants to meet customer demand with available capacity. You will monitor daily production execution and collaborate with Customer Service, Quality Control, Warehouse, and Production to keep a Ready To Execute plan. You will partner with cross-functional teams to optimize service levels and to redefine procedures in response to market changes. This role offers impact by shaping planning processes within Dana’s global manufacturing network.
Responsibilities
- Ensure materials planning and availability control according to the production schedule with on-time production KPIs
- Define production scheduling of assigned plants to ensure finished goods availability meeting customer demand and lines fill/on-time delivery KPIs
- Monitor and manage daily production plan execution in the manufacturing area
- Collaborate with Customer Service for order prioritization and production management
- Collaborate with Quality Control, Warehouse and Production to assure a Ready To Execute plan
Key requirements
- University bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering
- Advanced Excel and good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems
- Capacity planning experience
- Change Management / Target oriented
- Previous experience in the mechanical industry and manufacturing
- Lean production knowledge
- SAP expertise (preferred)
- Italian and English language proficiency
- Soft skill requirements: Team working, Flexibility, Accountability, Dynamism
