In this role, you will shape the next generation of networking and connectivity solutions, covering Ethernet, USB, and PCIe for commercial, industrial, and automotive applications. You will work closely with product marketing, customers, and cross-functional teams to define architecture and ensure safety, cybersecurity, and quality throughout the product lifecycle. You will lead technical collaboration with silicon and software architects, drive reference designs, and help customers during pre-production engagements. Responsibilities

Define architecture concepts for new silicon and system products based on customer needs
Collaborate with product marketing and customers to shape requirements
Develop architecture specifications with silicon and software architects
Design functional safety and cybersecurity concepts and analyses
Coordinate global cross-functional teams through the product lifecycle
Define approved vendor lists for companion chipsets
Develop reference designs and promote companion silicon solutions
Establish partnerships with other semiconductor vendors for joint designs
Support pre-production customer engagements and technical development activities
Develop and deliver technical training for customers, sales teams, and field engineers
Create technical documentation such as application notes and datasheets

Key requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
8+ years of relevant industry experience
Strong written communication for engineering documentation
Experience in silicon or system architecture, applications engineering, or systems engineering
Experience in at least two of: Digital IC design, Mixed-signal/analog IC design, Hardware design, Firmware/software development
