Experteer Overview
As Principal Engineer in the Connectors team, you will shape scalable, high-performance integrations between Saviynt’s Identity Governance platform and 200+ enterprise applications. You lead architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure reliability and quality across critical components. You’ll drive technology choices, design robust connector frameworks, and tackle complex API and authentication challenges. This role offers impact at scale, working with cross-team partners to advance a mission-critical, AI-enabled security platform.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable connector frameworks for enterprise app integrations
- Define standards, patterns, and best practices for connector development
- Lead architecture decisions for large in-scope integration scenarios
- Develop and maintain complex connectors (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, SAP)
- Implement robust error handling, retry, and fault-tolerance for external integrations
- Optimize performance and resource usage of connectors
- Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices
- Collaborate with product, QA, and support to ensure quality and customer success
- Mentor and train engineers; drive continuous improvement in code quality and maintainability
- Participate in cross-functional discussions with customers and partners as SME
Key requirements
- 12+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 3+ years in senior or principal engineering role
- Bachelor in Computer Science or related field (already stated)
