As President & CEO, you will advance UWYC’s mission to promote economic mobility and financial stability for working households in York County. You’ll translate the strategic plan into measurable priorities, lead fundraising and operations, and serve as a trusted advocate and ambassador across sectors. You will shape cross‑functional teams, drive sustainable revenue, and strengthen partnerships to deepen impact. This is a mission‑driven leadership role at a respected community convener, offering the chance to amplify UWYC’s visibility and long‑term resilience. You will lead with clarity, integrity, and a community‑centered approach to address ALICE households’ needs.

Compensation / Benefits

salary range $190,000 - $220,000

Responsibilities

Lead development and execution of a comprehensive fundraising strategy (major gifts, workplace giving, grants, corporate partnerships, and innovative revenue streams)
Oversee operations, financial performance, and talent development to align with the strategic plan
Collaborate with the Board to set strategy, ensure governance, and champion accountability
Build and nurture relationships with donors, partners, and community leaders to expand revenue and impact
Serve as an external ambassador and advocate, elevating UWYC’s brand and credibility across sectors
Translate strategic focus on ALICE households into broad engagement and fundraising success
Lead a data-informed approach to measure impact and adjust strategy accordingly
Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing organizational culture

Key requirements

Demonstrated experience leading organizations and teams through change
Proven track record in securing major gifts and driving sustainable revenue growth
Ability to translate strategy into actionable plans and measurable results
Strong relationship-building, fundraising, and donor stewardship skills
Executive communication and board governance experience
Commitment to equity, inclusion, and community-centered solutions
Ability to engage diverse stakeholders and represent the organization publicly
Experience with performance metrics and impact evaluation
