Experteer Overview

As President & CEO, you will lead FamilyAid’s mission-driven work to prevent family homelessness through a 2Gen approach. You’ll align finance, programming, and culture to advance stability for children and caregivers while guiding strategy and external advocacy. You’ll steward significant funding, strengthen partner networks, and amplify FamilyAid’s voice in anti-poverty work. This role blends vision with operational rigor and a commitment to equity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide visionary, mission-driven leadership and ensure organizational alignment across finance, philanthropy, culture, and programming
  • Lead external fundraising efforts and manage a multi-million operating budget with public contracts and private revenue
  • Champion the 2Gen model and oversee trauma-informed program delivery, evaluation, and community engagement
  • Cultivate inclusive, high-performance culture and support frontline staff while promoting transparency and clarity
  • Guide strategy, governance, and policy with the Board, ensuring adaptive planning and accountability
  • Represent FamilyAid as a public leader, advocate, and spokesperson to policymakers, funders, and partners

Key requirements

  • At least 15 years of leadership experience in anti-poverty, human services, or public-sector organizations
  • Master’s degree in public administration, nonprofit management, social work, urban policy, or related field is preferred
