In this role you lead the HR technology strategy and execution, focusing on Workday HCM and related HR applications. You partner with HR, Finance and ICT to translate business needs into scalable solutions, driving the technology roadmap and a world‑class HR service experience. You guide change management, data security, and integrations while building a high‑performing team of Workday experts. This is a global, transformation‑oriented leadership role aimed at delivering measurable HR tech impact.

Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle management of Workday HCM and HR technology
- Translate organizational needs into effective Workday solutions across HR, Finance and ICT
- Provide expert operational support and coordinate vendor escalations
- Manage Workday projects from discovery to user adoption, including testing and deployment
- Facilitate system integrations and data migrations ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Develop and maintain training materials and documentation for users
- Oversee security, roles, and permissions to safeguard sensitive data
- Drive change management, risk assessment, and issue resolution for Workday implementations
- Support analytics development with the Product Manager Analytics for compensation, benefits, and absence
- Oversee program operations including KPI tracking and system performance
- Lead and develop a team of Workday Systems Experts
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to design scalable solutions and manage releases
- Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and audit requirements (J-SOX)
- Lead planning for Workday bi‑annual releases
- Communicate system changes and project outcomes to technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Enable and optimize self‑service for users
Key requirements
- 8+ years in Global HR, Cloud Transformation, Technology, HRIS or related field
- Master’s degree or equivalent qualification
- Proven track record designing and implementing HR technology initiatives with Workday experience
- Experience with Workday Extend and system integrations
- Strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills with senior stakeholders
- Experience in regulated environments with SOX/data privacy awareness
- Analytical, project management and problem‑solving capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting
