In this two-year rotational program, you develop into a well-rounded engineer for PCA’s corrugated plant network. You gain hands-on training in Maintenance and Production while leading process-improvement projects. You’ll drive asset reliability and efficiency, collaborating across plant teams. After completion, you move into a full-time role aligned with your skills, with opportunities to lead in Production or Maintenance. This role blends learning with meaningful impact.
Tasks
- Rotate through Maintenance and Production to receive technical training
- Plan and implement medium-to-large process improvements and capital projects
- Drive solutions to improve equipment reliability and plant operations
- Collaborate with engineers, leadership, and operators on projects
- Participate in program conferences and off-site trainings
- Help shape and follow a clear career path within the POE program
- Share knowledge to improve service delivery to customers
- Support PCA’s Commitment to Service by adding value and keeping promises
Key requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (0-2 years of engineering experience)
- 0-2 years experience including internships/co-ops in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Ability to work first, second, or third shift during rotations
- Willingness to travel and valid travel documents
- Self-driven with hands-on manufacturing mindset
- Strong verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills
- Leadership experience or demonstrated leadership potential
