In this role you will lead and supervise the OB/GYN residency practice in Lansing, contributing to high-quality patient care and resident education. You will balance clinical duties—outpatient, labor and delivery, and surgical cases—with teaching, mentoring, and scholarly activity in a hospital-employed setting. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to advance education and clinical practice, within a mission-driven health system serving the Mid-Michigan community. Responsibilities

  • Direct supervision of resident physicians in outpatient, labor and delivery, and operating room
  • Rotating clinical shifts as Laborist, Clinic Attending, Gynecologic Surgeon, and Hospital GYN/Laborist backup
  • Didactic teaching, resident mentoring, committee participation, and scholarly activity per ACGME guidelines

Key requirements

  • Eligible for board certification within five years of residency
  • MD or DO (medical degree)
  • Five years of post-residency experience (preferred)
  • Interest in resident education and scholarly activity (preferred)
  • Robotic surgery certification and experience (preferred)
