Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat GI disorders and diseases
- Perform endoscopic procedures (colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy)
- Evaluate health status via medical history and tests
- Discuss diagnoses and treatment options with patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, and oncologists for coordinated care
- Document and maintain patient records, plans, and progress
Key requirements
- Board certification in Gastroenterology
- Proficient in endoscopic procedures
- Excellent patient management skills
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Current and valid medical license
