Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders and diseases
Perform endoscopic procedures (colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy)
Assess patients by reviewing history and diagnostic results
Consult with patients to explain diagnoses and discuss options
Develop individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, and oncologists to coordinate care
Document and maintain patient records and progress reports

Key requirements

Board certification in Gastroenterology
Proficient in endoscopic procedures
Excellent patient management skills
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Current and valid medical license
