In this role you apply data and AI to shape compensation strategy and HR decisions at Opendoor. You will build dashboards, automate repeatable People Operations tasks, and translate data into actionable insights for leadership. You’ll partner with Total Rewards and Talent Acquisition to support planning cycles and uplift data storytelling. The opportunity centers on enabling scalable, data-driven decisions in a collaborative, in-office environment with a focus on growth and impact.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain dashboards and reporting for People Operations / Total Rewards and, where it overlaps, for Talent Acquisition.
Own compensation and leveling project execution, benchmarking, market studies, and scenario planning.
Automate recurring People Operations tasks to save time and improve accuracy.
Provide analytics support to Talent Acquisition for offer insights and band placement.
Collaborate with HRIS administrator to improve data quality and integration via automations.
Lead AI enablement efforts to prototype and drive adoption of AI tools for workflows.
Translate data into clear, decision-ready narratives for leadership.
Plan ahead for major HR cycles by developing dashboards and automations in advance.

Key requirements

Genuine data mindset with growth orientation
High discretion handling confidential data and projects
Strong data storytelling and communication for executive audiences
Proficiency with Google Sheets; SQL or Snowflake a plus
Familiarity with HRIS (Rippling or similar), comp survey platforms (AON Radford, Mercer or similar), equity administration tools (Equity Edge or similar) as a plus
Ability to work independently across competing priorities and manage workload
