In this role you deliver specialized direct patient care within integrated behavioral health at Rady Children’s locations. You develop care plans, implement evidence-based therapies, and conduct testing following our integrated model and guidelines. You link children to ongoing treatments and community resources, while collaborating with supervisors and leaders to advance behavioral health initiatives for pediatric populations. You will engage with clinicians and staff to support the department’s vision and drive innovative psychology services.
Responsibilities
- Develop care plans and deliver evidence-based therapies with pediatric focus
- Conduct diagnostic testing per departmental guidelines
- Coordinate treatment pathways and connect families to community mental health resources
- Collaborate with supervisors, leaders, physicians, and staff to improve psychology services
- Support department-wide initiatives to advance integrated behavioral health
- Participate in credentialing processes and ensure compliance with practice standards
Key requirements
- PhD in Clinical Psychology or PsyD in Clinical Psychology with pediatric specialization
- California license
- Specialized training or certification in applicable area of work
- ADOS training and experience, PCIT certification
- 0-5 or APA-accredited internship and postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric/pain/sleep psychology or related specialty
- 1 year clinical experience
- Ability to work independently and make objective decisions
