Senior Specialist / Project Manager

In this role you drive the translation of recruitment and retention strategies into actionable plans, coordinating with sponsors and cross-functional teams to optimize study performance. You will lead operational delivery of recruitment/retention programs, manage budgets, and ensure timely reporting and risk mitigation. You represent IQVIA in sponsor meetings, train site staff, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to implement complex tactics. This role offers impact in shaping study execution and advancing patient recruitment performance.

Responsibilities

  • Translate strategy into operational plans to boost recruitment/retention
  • Act as primary operational contact for recruitment programs with sponsor
  • Manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables quality
  • Oversee project budgets to meet financial goals
  • Coordinate study team and sponsor activities to meet milestones
  • Develop and implement risk management plans
  • Maintain knowledge of recruitment vendors and trends; advise on needed support
  • Provide technical/educational support for interdepartmental training
  • Manage vendor and patient advocacy group activities (budgets, POs, change orders, invoicing)
  • Ensure timely updates to data systems (PSE dashboard, vTMF) and reports
  • Coordinate schedules for meetings and PSE activities
  • Handle logistical aspects for congress/conference planning in R&D
  • Participate in cross-DU PSE forums to share best practices

Key requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health care or other scientific discipline
  • 6 yrs relevant industry experience
  • In-depth knowledge of drug development processes across all functional areas
  • Knowledge of GCP/ICH and regulatory guidelines
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
  • Effective time management and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
  • Computer skills including data analysis and presentation software, Word, Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English
  • Ability to influence effectively within teams and with customers
