In this role you will join the Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Practice at University of Michigan Health-Sparrow in Lansing, delivering expert hand surgery care as part of a Level 1 trauma center. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to treat upper-extremity conditions and support trauma coverage, while leveraging EPIC EMR. Responsibilities

Provide orthopedic hand surgery care within a Level 1 trauma center setting
Participate in trauma call rotations shared with group of orthopedic surgeons
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and care coordination
Contribute to quality initiatives and patient access improvements in the Mid-Michigan region
Support academic or clinical initiatives as part of UM Health-Sparrow
Maintain board/certification requirements and pursue CAQ in Hand Surgery as applicable

Key requirements

M.D. or D.O.
Orthopedic Surgery residency completed
Hand Surgery Fellowship
Board-eligible or board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery
CAQ or CAQ-eligible in Hand Surgery
