In this role you lead multidisciplinary teams to drive Lean-based operational transformation across product, process, and organizational challenges. You accelerate issue resolution and reduce cycle times by guiding rapid-response efforts, trend-driven improvements, and cross-site quality initiatives. You will shape a culture of continuous improvement, support new frameworks like S&OP, and promote a robust quality culture across the organisation. This is a hands-on leadership role at Capgemini Belgium, with meaningful impact on performance and agility.

Responsibilities

Lead multidisciplinary teams applying Lean methodologies and drive root-cause analysis with rapid corrective actions
Form and lead rapid-response teams to streamline processes and cut issue resolution times (target ≥50%)
Champion continuous improvement through strategic action plans based on audits and performance data
Embed a problem-solving culture across the organisation and remove silos
Accelerate organisational agility by supporting accreditations and implementing frameworks like S&OP
Promote and ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance across sites

Key requirements

Master in Electro-Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
≥5 years of hands-on Lean project leadership
Proven expertise in 8D/9S problem-solving methodologies
Experience in aerospace, automotive, defence, or similar industrial environments
Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams and large-scale transformation
Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making
Foundational knowledge of electro-mechanical systems
Familiarity with quality management systems and certification processes
Experience with Six Sigma or Lean process improvement and effective stakeholder communication
