Experteer Overview
In this role you will perform a full range of in vivo and in vitro nuclear medicine procedures, operating quality control for imaging equipment and performing PET/CT studies. You will support research scanner qualification and protocol programming while delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities
- Perform in vivo and in vitro nuclear medicine procedures under supervision
- Operate and QC stationary/portable scintillation equipment (gamma cameras, Geiger-Mueller counters, dose calibration devices)
- Conduct PET, Nuc Med, and CT studies on a PET/CT scanner, including contrast administration and image acquisition
- Assist in scanner qualification for research trials and execute required scans
- Create and program study-specific protocols for administration and imaging
- Deliver high-quality patient care and ensure timely exam throughput
- Maintain on-call availability as required
Key requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program with at least one year of CNMT experience
- Current California CNMT license
- Current NMTCB and/or AART (N) licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff across the Health System
- Strong work ethic and appropriate pace handling workload
