Experteer Overview

In this role you will perform the full range of in vivo and in vitro Nuclear Medicine procedures in a supportive Orange-based team. You will operate and QC imaging equipment, including PET/CT, and contribute to research scans and protocol development. You will ensure patient care, timely exam throughput, and compliance with safety standards while working on-call as needed. This position offers a clear impact on diagnostics and patient outcomes within a collaborative health system.

Responsibilities

Perform a full range of Nuclear Medicine procedures (in vivo and in vitro) under supervision.
Operate and QC stationary and portable scintillation equipment (gamma cameras, Geiger-Mueller counters, dose calibration devices).
Conduct PET, Nuc Med, and CT studies on a PET/CT scanner, including contrast administration and image acquisition.
Assist in scanner qualification for research trials and perform necessary scans.
Create and program study-specific protocols for administration, imaging, and reformatting under supervision.
Provide high-quality patient care and ensure timely throughput of exams.
Work on-call as needed to support the team and patients.

Key requirements

Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program with at least one year of full-time CNMT experience
Current and active California CNMT license
Current NMTCB and/or AART (N) licensure for Nuclear Medicine
Current BLS certification
Knowledge of state regulatory radiation safety practices and ALARA
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with staff across the Health System
Strong work ethic and ability to maintain pace with workload
