Experteer Overview
In this role you will perform a full range of Nuclear Medicine procedures, support quality control of imaging equipment, and execute PET/CT studies while ensuring patient-focused care. You will work under the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor to develop study protocols and maintain timely exam throughput, with on-call obligations. The position offers a competitive package, $10,000 sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance within a collaborative health system.

Responsibilities
- Operate and QC stationary and portable scintillation equipment (gamma cameras, Geiger-Mueller counters, dose calibration devices)
- Perform PET, Nuc Med, and CT diagnostic studies on a PET/CT scanner; inject CT contrast media and acquire images
- Assist in scanner qualification for research trials through required scans
- Create and program study-specific protocols for administration, imaging, and reformatting under supervision
- Provide high-quality patient care and ensure timely throughput of exams
- Work on-call as needed to support the team and patients
Key requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program with at least one year of full-time CNMT experience
- Current California CNMT license
- Current NMTCB and/or AART (N) licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Knowledge of ALARA and state radiation safety practices
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work with staff across the Health System
- Strong work ethic and ability to maintain workload pace.
