Experteer Overview
In this role you will deliver a full range of in vivo and in vitro Nuclear Medicine procedures within a supportive team. You will work closely with the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor and Medical Director to ensure high-quality imaging, patient care, and timely exam throughput. The position involves hands-on operation of scintillation equipment, PET/CT studies, and protocol development for studies, with an emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance. This opportunity offers significant impact in patient diagnostics, potential involvement in research trials, and a sign-on bonus plus relocation support to help you settle in.

Responsibilities
- Operate and QC stationary and portable scintillation equipment (gamma cameras, Geiger-Mueller counters, dose calibration devices)
- Perform PET, Nuc Med, and CT diagnostic studies on a PET/CT scanner, including CT contrast administration and image acquisition
- Assist in scanner qualification for research trials through scans and procedures
- Create and program study-specific protocols for administration, imaging, and reformatting under supervision
- Deliver high-quality patient care and maintain exam throughput
- Be available for on-call coverage as needed
Key requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program with at least 1 year of full-time CNMT experience
- Current California CNMT license
- Current NMTCB and/or AART (N) licensure for Nuclear Medicine
- Current BLS certification
- Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across the Health System with staff
- Strong work ethic and ability to manage workload pace
