As NPI Project Manager – Mechatronics, you introduce new high-tech modules into our factory and lead cross-functional teams to meet quality, delivery, and budget targets. You coordinate with design, production, and sales to drive successful market launches for customers in semiconductor, analytical, and medical equipment sectors. The role focuses on aligning customer requirements with project budgets and timelines, while optimizing NPI processes and contributing to growth and margins. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines technical execution with cross-functional orchestration to deliver value from prototype to production.

Responsibilities

Gather customer requirements, forecast and priorities, and issue escalation when needed
Create and maintain project dashboards/reports for leadership review
Align project budget and timing with NPI Manager, targeting product margin and turnover
Execute NPI projects per QMS to deliver products with agreed QLTC specifications in a World Class Manufacturing framework
Initiate or contribute to NPI process improvements, especially interface with D&E and Production organizations
Support business development by contributing to RFQ quotations and project effort estimates
Collaborate with Sales/Account Manager to acquire NPI projects

Key requirements

Bachelor or Master in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
5 years of relevant NPI project management experience in high-tech industry
Knowledge of business processes and project management methodologies (Prince2)
Experience with MRP/ERP systems (Navision, SAP, Microsoft D365)
Strong leadership, project management and team-building skills
Fluency in Dutch and English
