In this role, you will support Amazon data centers by designing, developing, and deploying nondestructive testing solutions to improve electrical, mechanical, fire detection, and building automation systems. You’ll work both independently and with cross-functional teams to identify improvements and drive operational excellence. You’ll help ensure safety, security, and high availability while addressing complex facility challenges. This is a hands-on role with tangible impact on data center reliability and customer experience.

Responsibilities

Safety Ambassador promoting a culture of safety across facilities
Ensure compliance with security protocols and motivate others to follow them
Use CMMS to schedule and oversee Nondestructive Testing preventative maintenance
Serve as escalation point for safety, security, and facilities issues
Deploy and support standard NDT practices
Translate complex technical information to non-technical audiences
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, project managers, and management
Develop detailed, creative solutions to complex problems while managing timelines and costs
Oversee projects and identify root causes of facility issues

Key requirements

1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
1+ years' experience with Microsoft Office products
Ability to work on a flexible schedule including days, nights, and/or weekends
