In this role you will lead and direct newscasts and productions, overseeing the production crew and studio operations. You will train staff, supervise daily activities, and ensure smooth control room management, contributing to high-quality broadcasts. You’ll work closely with the newsroom and technical teams to maintain standards and respond under pressure. This position offers a hands-on leadership role in a dynamic news environment with room to shape live productions.

Responsibilities

Direct and TD assigned newscasts and productions
Train production crew
Supervise production crew on a daily basis
Maintain production studio and control room
Contribute to website or related tasks as assigned

Key requirements

Experience Directing and TDing newscasts
Knowledge of production standards and equipment
Ability to clearly give direction to crew while under pressure
Typing and good spelling skills
Ability to read and write
Must be able to lift and position 40 pound lighting instruments
