In this role you will join the NC3 software team to help build the next generation of strategic deterrence systems. You will work within a cross-functional group to deliver software across the development lifecycle, applying modern practices and potentially AI-driven improvements. The position supports on-site work in MA with a path toward continuous learning and professional growth in a mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities
- Develop and contribute to the next generation NC3 deterrence software within a cross-functional team
- Collaborate across engineering disciplines to deliver software solutions for defense systems
- Engage in DevOps-based development and deployment through CI/CD pipelines
- Support virtualization and containerization efforts (Kubernetes, workload orchestration) and basic networking troubleshooting
- Provide technical leadership and collaborate in an agile or similar methodology
- Continuously improve processes and explore AI-driven enhancements for operations
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related STEM field plus 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with 6 months relevant experience
- Top Secret security clearance preferred at hire; U.S. citizenship required; ability to undergo DoD clearance process
- on-site work requirement in Taunton/Dedham, MA with some travel
- familiarity with Linux and DevOps-based development a plus
