In this role you will lead the HR function across several plant sites, aligning people initiatives with business goals. You work closely with management and employees to foster a positive culture and resolve workplace issues. You will handle disciplinary escalations, policy changes, and labor relations activities, including negotiations and investigations. This position offers the chance to influence cross-site HR practices and contribute to LANXESS’s sustainability and governance commitments.

Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate HR across multiple plant sites to meet business unit objectives
- Act as liaison between employer and employees to support a positive culture
- Oversee employee relations and mediate complaints
- Escalate disciplinary or legal actions following policies and agreements
- Update employees on policy or contract changes and advise supervisors on staff treatment and bargaining agreements
- Participate in negotiations, contract arbitration, or mediation
- Represent locations on community advisory panels as appropriate
- Conduct investigations into workplace situations
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; SPHR/SHRM-SCP preferred
- 5-10 years of manufacturing experience
- Multi-site experience required
- Labor relations experience preferred
- Proven ability to lead and influence change
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel to various sites
