As Multimedia System Team Lead in Glovo’s IT Multimedia group in Barcelona, you will steer the worldwide audiovisual services across meeting spaces and events. You will grow and coach a technical team, manage budgets and vendor relations, and oversee AV, CCTV, and access control projects. You’ll drive cross-functional collaboration, ensure performance through KPIs and incident management, and lead live events and office deployments. This role blends hands-on leadership with strategic delivery in a fast-growing, tech-first culture.

Responsibilities
- Lead the Multimedia section and set direction
- Coach and manage a technical team
- Oversee budget planning, cost control, and vendor relationships
- Manage projects in Audio visual, CCTV, and access control
- Monitor team performance with KPIs, SLAs, and SLOs
- Drive process optimization, automation, and proactive service management
- Collaborate with other IT domains to deliver cross-functional services
- Lead change management initiatives for tool/process adoption
- Communicate across all levels from end users to senior leadership
- Lead critical incident responses with clear stakeholder communication
- Maintain stack up to date and monitored
- Hands-on work with the team
- Produce live events
- Support meeting room infrastructure
- Deploy new offices
- Travel to different locations for delivery and training
Key requirements
- At least 2 years in a leadership role within IT or similar
- Genuine passion for Audio visual topics
- Technical knowledge on audiovisual systems
- Experience with microphone systems and sound systems
- Knowledge of video/sound processing units
- Ability to delve into technical topics
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing budgets, vendors, and performance metrics
- Fluent in English; other languages a plus
- Experience with Q-SYS or Crestron is a plus
- Experience in live event production is a plus
