As a Multimedia Journalist, you report, shoot, edit, and produce content for multiple outlets, delivering engaging storytelling across platforms. You work in a fast-paced live news environment, leveraging social media to grab viewers. You will build local and broader news contacts and contribute to multiple channels from the San Antonio office. This role suits a proactive, quick-learning communicator who thrives under pressure and in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
- Report, shoot and edit video news stories
- Produce content for multiple outlets
- Write and post across platforms including websites and mobile products
- Conduct walk-and-talk live shots and grab viewers with sights and sounds
- Gather information, interview, shoot video, produce, report and edit stories daily
- Maintain familiarity with local, national and international news
- Establish and maintain news contacts in the community
- Collaborate with team while maintaining a positive work atmosphere
- Perform other duties as necessary
Key requirements
- Minimum 1 year newsroom experience
- BA degree in communication, journalism, television broadcasting or equivalent preferred
- Fluent in Spanish (read and write) and ability to translate from English to Spanish
- Willingness to work from office in San Antonio, Texas
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, type, and sit for up to 8 hours
- Ability to identify problems and develop solutions
- Ability to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends and evenings
