As Mine Planning Engineer, you will shape open pit design and planning to support sustainable resource development. You’ll work with geologists, metallurgists, and engineers to deliver robust plans, cost estimates, and reporting that inform client decisions. Responsibilities

Mine planning for open pit (required) and underground (preferred)
Create engineering and geologic drawings for reports
Cost estimation and economic (DCF) modeling (preferred)
Resources and reserve reporting
Support both engineering and geologic aspects of projects
Collaborate with geologists, metallurgists, and other disciplines
Provide client support and presentations
Prepare operations and project estimates, schedules, and reports
Engineering trade-off studies (e.g., autonomous vs conventional haulage, equipment selection, open pit vs underground)
