In this role you will design, build, deploy and administer large-scale, multi-domain Exchange environments across on-premises and cloud-based hosting. You will work within a distributed IT landscape supporting global sites and DevOps-driven project lifecycles. You will drive integration with Active Directory, Azure AD and Office 365, while strengthening security and compliance across messaging systems. This opportunity offers hands-on architecture and deployment work in a mission-focused, technology-forward team.

Responsibilities
- Design and define system architecture for Exchange infrastructures across on-premises and cloud hosting
- Assess and roadmap Exchange environments, monitor performance, and propose corrective actions
- Administer and maintain Exchange components in virtualized environments
- Review and implement system enhancements, advising management and clients
- Plan upgrades to Exchange infrastructure focusing on Active Directory, DNS, LDAP, permissions, and Group Policy
- Coordinate deployments via automated CM tools and produce installation instructions and deployment plans
- Integrate Exchange with AD, Azure AD, and Office 365 services
- Provide O&M support and harden environments per security guidelines including DISA STIGs
Key requirements
- Exchange Server 2016 or 2019 with DAGs
- Mail flow management in Exchange
- Email security, compliance policies, and DLP
- Email encryption and SPF/DKIM/DMARC
- Windows DNS and DHCP
- Exchange integration with Active Directory, Azure AD, and Office 365
- Active Directory Domains and Trusts
- PowerShell or other scripting for automation
- Windows Server 2019/2022/2025
- Identity Manager experience is a plus
- JIRA and ServiceNow usage for task management
- Security-hardening guidelines (DISA STIGs)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent for IAT Level II 8570/8140
- Bachelor (or equivalent)
- US Citizenship and TS/SCI with Polygraph
