As a field-based Medical Science Liaison in Hematology, you will build trusted scientific relationships with healthcare professionals to discuss evidence and shape medical strategy. You’ll translate clinical and real-world insights into actionable recommendations for medical teams and support investigator-sponsored studies. You join a cross-functional environment focused on advancing cancer-care outcomes within the Ahead Together mission. You will engage with experts, provide balanced education, and help drive compliant medical plans that impact patient care.
Responsibilities
- Engage with healthcare professionals and external experts to discuss clinical evidence, guidelines and patient care
- Capture and share field insights to inform medical strategy and local plans
- Provide balanced, evidence-based scientific education to healthcare professionals and internal colleagues
- Support investigator-sponsored studies and other collaborative research initiatives
- Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries with accurate, timely information
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant medical plans and local activities
- Build and maintain relationships with clinicians and academic experts in Switzerland
- Stay current on scientific literature and evolving hematology treatment landscapes
- Translate clinical and real-world insights into actionable recommendations for medical affairs and clinical teams
- Plan and deliver scientific presentations and training to healthcare audiences and internal teams
- Contribute to local medical projects and educational initiatives addressing unmet patient needs
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards in medical interactions and documentation
Key requirements
- Degree in life sciences (MD, PharmD, MSc, or PhD) or equivalent clinical qualification
- Multiple years of relevant field-based pharmaceutical experience in hematology/oncology (MSL or Medical Advisor)
- Familiarity with Swiss healthcare systems, practice, and key opinion leaders
- Strong ability to read, evaluate and communicate clinical evidence clearly and accurately
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with healthcare professionals
- Proficiency in English; German preferred; knowledge of French/Italian beneficial
- Ability to travel regularly within the region and work independently
