Responsibilities
- Establish medical quality standards and guide clinical direction for the hospital
- Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, HR, and payroll teams to support hospital performance
- Lead and mentor veterinary staff, fostering a collaborative, teaching-focused culture
- Manage a diverse caseload including dogs and cats and respond to emergencies as needed
- Promote fear-free techniques and safe radiology practices
- Engage with ongoing professional development initiatives and clinical studies programs
Key requirements
- DVM degree from an accredited university
- Licensure in good standing to practice in Michigan or ability to obtain
- Commitment to high standards of medicine and veterinary ethics
