As Managing Director, you will lead and scale Armanino’s Valuation and Financial Modeling practice. You will drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and develop talent while coordinating with advisory units to deliver integrated solutions. You’ll advise clients on complex valuation and financial modeling issues and oversee multi-disciplinary engagements. Your leadership will foster a growth-oriented culture and strong client relationships, with a focus on thought leadership and cross-practice collaboration.

Responsibilities

Lead revenue growth and strategic planning for the valuation and financial modeling practice
Drive new business development through relationships with clients, industry networks, and centers of influence
Serve as trusted advisor on valuation matters including financial reporting, tax planning, and transaction support
Oversee complex valuation and modeling engagements ensuring technical quality and timely delivery
Collaborate with Forensics to provide integrated solutions across valuations and disputes
Build and deepen relationships with executives, owners, and financial sponsors to generate opportunities
Oversee engagement economics including budgeting, realization, utilization, and profitability
Mentor and develop valuation professionals and foster a collaborative, scalable team culture
Provide strategic oversight of valuation analyses using income, market, and asset-based approaches
Support preparation and review of valuation for financial reporting, tax, 409A/ASC 718, M&A, litigation, and related matters
Act as a thought leader through speaking engagements, publications, and professional organizations
Foster cross-practice opportunities and sustainable practice growth

Key requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Minimum of 12 years in valuation within a major public accounting firm or large advisory firm
Valuation or finance credentials such as ASA, CFA, CPA/ABV, CEIV, CVA, CVFI preferred
Proven success in developing client relationships and sourcing opportunities
Extensive experience leading complex valuation and modeling engagements and managing consulting teams
Experience collaborating with related practices to deliver integrated client service
Industry presence through speaking engagements, publications, or thought leadership
