In this role you will lead private client tax advisory and compliance for individuals, families, and ultra-high net worth clients. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor within client service teams, shaping strategies across personal, trust, estate, and wealth retention matters. You’ll develop and manage client relationships, contribute to business development, and guide a tax team while staying current on complex tax issues. Responsibilities

Provide tax compliance and advisory services to individuals, partnerships, trusts, estates, and private foundations
Develop, build, and manage client relationships as part of the proposal process
Participate in networking activities to expand business opportunities and client relationships
Maintain deep understanding of a client's business or family structure to address concerns
Assist with managing, developing, and coaching professional tax staff
Review and manage projects prepared by tax associates and seniors
Delegate responsibilities effectively and monitor engagement team progress
Leverage technology tools to improve work processes and complete assignments
Research complex tax issues, apply findings to projects, and clearly communicate conclusions in writing

Key requirements

11 years or more of related experience in public accounting, law firm, or trust department
Bachelor or graduate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
CPA license or J.D. degree and bar admission
Experience managing multiple client engagements
