Responsibilities
- Lead and consult with financial professionals to grow their practice
- Attract, train, motivate and retain advisors to build a profitable business center
- Meet objectives in recruiting, retention, production, persistency, business conduct and expense management
- Develop community relations and oversee succession planning and talent development
- Support regulatory compliance and licensing requirements across jurisdictions
- Navigate travel requirements (up to 15%) and oversee performance within the sales organization
Key requirements
- Bachelor degree or eight years of equivalent experience
- 4+ years related work experience in sales and management
- Experience recruiting experienced financial advisors (strongly preferred)
- Broad knowledge of sales techniques and regulations governing insurance and securities sales
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to recruit, train, lead, manage and supervise a diverse group of producers
- Licenses/exams: Life/Health and Variable Annuity licenses; Series 7 and 63 or 24/65/66 as applicable; IAR appointment
- Travel up to 15%
- Designations desired: CLU/ChFC/CFP/CLF
