Responsibilities

  • Lead and consult with financial professionals to grow their practice
  • Attract, train, motivate and retain advisors to build a profitable business center
  • Meet objectives in recruiting, retention, production, persistency, business conduct and expense management
  • Develop community relations and oversee succession planning and talent development
  • Support regulatory compliance and licensing requirements across jurisdictions
  • Navigate travel requirements (up to 15%) and oversee performance within the sales organization

Key requirements

  • Bachelor degree or eight years of equivalent experience
  • 4+ years related work experience in sales and management
  • Experience recruiting experienced financial advisors (strongly preferred)
  • Broad knowledge of sales techniques and regulations governing insurance and securities sales
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to recruit, train, lead, manage and supervise a diverse group of producers
  • Licenses/exams: Life/Health and Variable Annuity licenses; Series 7 and 63 or 24/65/66 as applicable; IAR appointment
  • Travel up to 15%
  • Designations desired: CLU/ChFC/CFP/CLF
