As Managing Director, you will lead and grow a portfolio of software businesses, owning strategy, operations, and profitability. You will drive cross-functional collaboration to execute growth, product, and customer success initiatives within an operating model built on four pillars. You will push for operational excellence, scalability, and strong financial performance, while shaping product roadmaps and technology directions. This is a stakeholder-facing, hands-on leadership role with immediate impact across the portfolio and company mission.
Responsibilities
- Lead portfolio strategy and operations across four-pillar model: strategy/positioning, operational excellence, growth, product strategy/technology
- Define and execute growth plans, optimizing revenue generation and market expansion
- Enhance sales, customer success, and R&D to support portfolio performance
- Prioritize customer satisfaction through robust service delivery and support
- Develop and execute product roadmaps aligned with market trends and objectives
- Manage P&L and capital allocation to maximize profitability and ROI
- Build, coach and lead high-performing teams; foster a culture of performance and innovation
- Translate vision into actionable plans and drive measurable results
Key requirements
- 4+ years in management consulting and/or technology/software business
- Bachelor in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related field
- MBA considered a strong asset
- Experience as a business operations leader with commercial, customer-centric, and continuous improvement mindset
- Experience in sales, customer service, or product development; financial acumen (P&L, budget, forecast)
- People-centric leader with proven ability to build and mentor high-performing teams
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with ability to translate vision into action
