In this role you will lead M&A advisory engagements and strategic solutions, driving revenue through business development and client networks. You will oversee transaction execution, ensure timely deliverables, and mentor the execution team. The position requires an entrepreneurial, metrics-driven mindset to advance department goals and create measurable value for clients and the firm.

Responsibilities

Execute buy-side and sell-side advisory engagements including due diligence support
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to grow the client base
Build and manage client networks to generate revenue opportunities
Analyze client data to identify trends, risks, and working capital needs for decision support
Review transaction documents and provide negotiation insights
Identify pre- and post-close opportunities and refine go-to-market plans
Lead and oversee engagement teams, ensuring timely delivery and quality
Direct due diligence meetings and tailor diligence reports for key issues
Manage the transaction process from start to finish, including valuation and contracts negotiation
Mentor team members using an apprenticeship approach
Ensure client and internal stakeholder satisfaction
Perform all duties in office as required
Other duties as assigned

Key requirements

Ten (10) or more years of experience in investment banking or corporate finance
Experience leading a team of VPs, associates, and/or analysts
FINRA Series 63 and 7 or 79 licenses, or active pursuit of licensure
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA, required
Strong business acumen with analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel for client meetings/events
Experience in middle market investment banking preferred
