As Site Executive Leader in the Philippines, you will own day-to-day performance and long-term growth, ensuring alignment with U.S. operations. You will serve as the cultural ambassador, bridge between Manila and the US HQ, and navigate local governance and geopolitical risk to secure business continuity. You’ll drive operational excellence across multiple functions and prepare the site for scalable expansion, including future roles beyond operations. This is a high-impact, global leadership role that shapes culture, strategy, and execution at scale, with a clear path to local leadership ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all site operations with a focus on performance, compliance, and employee engagement
  • Maintain a strong cultural bridge between the Philippines site and U.S. headquarters
  • Drive continuous improvement and service delivery aligned with enterprise goals
  • Lead in a time zone-disconnected environment with autonomy and sound judgment
  • Develop and execute long-term site expansion strategies aligned with the Cigna global capability center strategy
  • Act as General Manager with capability to scale operations across multiple business lines
  • Build a sustainable leadership pipeline with a goal of transitioning site leadership to a Filipino national
  • Represent the organization with government bodies, regulators, and industry peers
  • Monitor geopolitical and regulatory risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Influence local industry agendas and contribute to favorable regulatory environments
  • Instill a culture that mirrors U.S. values and aligns local decisions with enterprise strategy
  • Foster belonging and cohesion across geographically dispersed teams

Key requirements

  • Global Operations Leadership Experience – proven track record in leading large-scale, cross-functional operations (15+ years)
  • Executive-level strategic acumen with ability to influence enterprise-wide decisions
  • Cultural fluency and experience engaging external stakeholders
  • Expatriate readiness with willingness to relocate to Manila for 3–4 years (international relocation preferred)
  • Operational excellence and transformation experience in scaling operations, performance, cost efficiency, and service delivery
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional teams in international settings
  • Deep understanding of U.S. corporate culture and operational models
  • Strong judgment, autonomy, and problem-solving skills in ambiguous environments
  • Experience navigating regulatory and labor environments in foreign markets
  • Preferred: experience in the Philippines or other international markets
  • Preferred: general management exposure across multiple business functions
  • Preferred: government relations experience
