In this role you will lead and grow Wedbush's institutional equity sales book from New York, building high-value relationships and driving revenue across the Capital Markets platform. You will collaborate with research, trading, and investment banking to deliver differentiated market insights and client solutions. The role combines entrepreneurial autonomy with the resources of a major platform, focused on scaling a profitable client book. You’ll engage hedge funds, funds, and asset managers through strategic events and bespoke access to management teams. This is a high-visibility opportunity to shape institutional sales at Wedbush and contribute to its growth trajectory.

Responsibilities
- Develop, grow, and monetize institutional client relationships (hedge funds, mutual funds, asset managers)
- Deliver timely, differentiated research, market insights, and actionable investment ideas
- Attend and coordinate corporate access events (conferences, non-deal roadshows, bespoke management meetings)
- Partner with research analysts, traders, and investment bankers to drive integrated client solutions
- Leverage CRM and analytics to track activity, manage performance, and identify revenue opportunities
- Represent Wedbush with professionalism and integrity at all times
Key requirements
- Proven success in institutional equity sales with a strong revenue track record
- Established institutional client relationships (hedge funds, mutual funds, asset managers)
- Expertise in market dynamics, investment trends, and client strategy
- Professional presence, strong negotiation skills, and a results-driven mindset
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- 10+ years of experience in equity sales
- Proficiency in Thomson Eikon, Bloomberg, and Microsoft Office (Excel emphasized)
- Outstanding sales, communication, and negotiation skills with a polished client presence
- Entrepreneurial drive, analytical rigor, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Expert-level command of financial markets, global equity trends, and sector-specific dynamics
- Superior communication and presentation skills (written, verbal, digital)
