Responsibilities
- Own and steer the company P&L and strategic direction
- Drive profitable growth through business development and key account management
- Strengthen relationships with major industrial customers, contractors, project organisations, and distribution partners
- Develop and expand the project pipeline with disciplined margin management
- Lead and develop commercial, procurement, operations, and support teams
- Ensure execution of complex customer projects, including delivery, contractual compliance, and risk management
- Define sourcing and supplier strategies with international manufacturing partners
- Oversee inventory management and working capital performance
- Identify opportunities for market expansion, product development, and value-added services
- Represent the business to customers, suppliers, and group stakeholders
Key requirements
- Significant leadership experience in industrial distribution, technical trading, metals, engineered products, piping/flow-control, or similar B2B sectors
- Strong track record in project-based sales and long lifecycle industrial applications
- Proven P&L responsibility and balance of commercial ambition with operational discipline
- Experience managing procurement, inventory, supply chain, and contract-related risks
- Ability to motivate and develop multidisciplinary teams
- International mindset with experience across European markets
- Commercially driven, entrepreneurial, decisive, and hands-on when needed
- Fluency in Dutch and English is highly desirable
