In this role you drive compliant external reporting and robust accounting policy for ASML as a dual-listed company. You partner with senior stakeholders to translate US GAAP/IFRS into actionable guidance, support risk management, and enhance internal controls. You own integrated and interim reporting, shaping decisions with deep technical expertise. You’ll lead improvements to processes, training, and governance to help ASML achieve its strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

Advise on correct interpretation and application of US GAAP/IFRS standards
Assess accounting impact of major sales and procurement deals within account and project teams
Own Integrated Reporting (US GAAP/IFRS) and interim IFRS reporting; review quarterly consolidated financials and earnings releases
Own accounting policies via the accounting manual and define Sarbanes-Oxley scoping and control framework
Provide second-level oversight of accounting compliance and deliver trainings
Coordinate with Audit Committee, Disclosure Committee and Internal Control Committee; assist external auditor on technical topics
Foster continuous improvement and embed compliant accounting in processes

Key requirements

Master's degree with RA, CPA or equivalent
10+ years of experience at a Big 4 audit firm (including managerial experience)
Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act and related requirements (preferred)
Experience with/knowledge of continuous monitoring and data analytics (preferred)
