In this role you guide ASML’s external reporting and technical accounting needs as a trusted advisor within a fast-closing, listed company. You collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure compliant US GAAP/IFRS reporting, shape accounting policies, and drive risk mitigation. You own Integrated Reporting and support audits, embedding compliant processes across the organization. You’ll lead continuous improvement and partner with cross-functional teams to enable quality decision-making and scalable governance.

Responsibilities

Advise on correct interpretation and implementation of US GAAP/IFRS standards
Assess accounting impact of significant sales and procurement deals within project and account teams
Own Integrated Reporting (US GAAP and IFRS) and review quarterly Consolidated financial statements and earnings releases
Manage accounting policies via the accounting manual and SOX scoping and control framework
Provide second-level oversight of accounting compliance and deliver trainings
Coordinate with Audit Committee, Disclosure Committee and Internal Control Committee; assist external auditors on technical topics
Promote continuous improvement and embed compliant accounting in processes

Key requirements

Master's degree with RA (or equivalent)
10+ years of experience at a Big 4 audit firm (incl. managerial experience)
Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
Knowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and related requirements (preferred)
Experience with/knowledge of continuous monitoring and data analytics (preferred)
